MEDIA RELEASE

August 14th 2007

Update: ASIC and Jamie McIntyre settle out of court

In August 2007 Asic and Jamie McIntyre agreed to settle the long running case started in 2001 by the ASIC

As ASIC had failed for some 5 years to have this matter brought back before the courts and thus it was ordered to mediation to settle the matter

In mediation it was agreed both parties would cease the matter and each party pay their own legal costs.
This means not a single allegation raised against Mr McIntyre has been proven by the ASIC.

The original orders granted to ASIC in 2002 were also completely removed ASIC agreed to add editors notes to all prevoius media releases re Jamie Mcintyre to highlight for public viewing that the matter has been settled out of court with no findings.

ASIC was also ordered to pay all legal costs for Ms Rajnoch in an associated matter and the Judge dismissed ASICs case against her as published on ASICs July 2007 media release.

Mr McIntyre said he was thankful he has been vindicated after a 6 year battle with the ASIC which he considered unfair unjust and defametory and he said he looked forward to a more civil ongoing constructive relationship with the ASIC.

Mr McIntyre also agreed to enrol into the Institute of Company Directors course and has completed his Ps146 in provision of general advice and deriviatives and offered to become licensed in the near future despite not be legally required as an educator.

If you have come to this site you no doubt have an interest in finding out some facts relating to Jamie McIntyre and his concerns over ASIC’s conduct in this country or you may have just stumbled across it out of curiosity.

This site is designed to highlight Jamie’s personal response to the ASIC allegations from many years ago and also other articles relating to similar issues.

As you would know, there are always two sides to a story and here is 21st Century Academy and Jamie McIntyre’s side of it.

This is designed to balance the one sided and what we believe allegedly  misleading version released to the public by regulators such as the ASIC or competitors such as Neil Jenman. As we’re in a free democratic country its important the public has access to the facts and isn't blatantly deceived like some organisations intend to do.

Thanks to the internet, the public can now freely access information on numerous topics and in the case of this site the public can be better informed about the facts of this matter for those that have an interest in these particular matters.

Jamie would like to say thank you to his many supporters and wishes you well in your endeavors and commends you for being a person that is not gullible nor cynical but educated enough to be able to read between the lines in such matters as these and seek the facts to make better and more informed decisions about such matters.

Here's to the hope that the tall poppy syndrome in Australia will become a thing of the past one day  and communistic views portrayed by certain government regulator employees and certain individuals such as Neil Jenman, and the like are banished from our democratic society. These people feed the misguided attitude that the so called poor in this country are only in that position because of the wealthier rather then the facts that in a wealthy country every one has significant opportunity to do well and the desire to become wealthy and achieve a better life for our future generations is the corner stone of our countries economic success so far and something that one should be proud of to strive for rather then attempt to pull down those committed individuals who seek to help others achieve abundance and success in there lives

And let's hope common sense prevails and the ASIC and Australian Government  accepts one day that Jamie’s core message that a better financially educated society is more likely to achieve financial success then an uneducated, over regulating one left to rely on the advice of commission based financial planners and dodgy investment scheme operators.

Jamie strongly believes Education is the solution to most of the worlds problems especially financial problems  and Government over regulation designed by bureaucrats is more about creating jobs for more bureaucrats to earn what is an effective welfare payment funded salary funded  by the hard working tax payers of Australia.
